Default New BOW from Piecing the Past... cutting!

I got about a week's late start, but yesterday I found all my fabrics (most from stash) and did all the cutting for the quilt blocks. She has you put all the pieces for each block into seperate baggies, 19 in all. There will be 3-4 of each block. It was a marathon, but I got everything cut! Now all I have to do is sew.

This is what the quilt will look like. I love the warm Fall colors.

It's going to be beautiful! I love her designs but so far just watch from the fence, so to speak. Please share your progress!

For some strange reason, you seem to use the 24 hours in the day much better than I can. Does someone sneak in and steal about 4 or 5 hours away from me? Like Major League Baseball or Football? You are so organized and yet totally helpful on this board.

I have all those instructions printed out and in a nicely labeled notebook. My stash is crying to me to come and shop. But I'm still stuck in Allietare, by Bonnie Hunter. And she is scheduled to announce the colors on this Thursday. For the next mystery.

Your skills amaze me.

Your quilt is going to be very nice with those fabrics chosen. I have printed out the patterns and pulled out my civil war fabrics but just haven't got the time to put things together yet. Hopefully I can get going soon. You look so organized and ready to quilt. Please share with us as you progress thru this BOW

Progress already! I got the first 3 sets of blocks made. Don't notice that I've lost points on the star! She has you make the geese oversized and then trim, and obviously I trimmed too close to one edge. Will try leaving more room for points on the next one!

Thank you for the nice comments! I have lots of time to quilt. Three days a week I teach exercise classes at the gym, but when I come home I quilt, sometimes late into the night... And on my off days I quilt. I'm not nearly as good at housekeeping, tho I do manage to keep the hubby fed. So that's why it may seem I get a lot done. I have time to do it. When I get on the board, it's usually during a break from sewing. That's my secret!

So far, I've avoided printing the instructions. The only page I printed was the fabric key, so I could glue my tiny swatches on. I have everything downloaded into a file on my laptop, and I bring it over to my work table where I cut and piece, and just follow along off the computer. Saves a ton of paper and ink!

If anyone else is making this quilt, please show you pics here, too.
