I forgot to mention this is the one I got for my niece. I am getting her hooked on sewing/quilting. :):)

nice machine--so sweet of you to get it for your niece. She is going to be thrilled.

Well I figured this would be a good machine to get her since I couldn't get my hands on a Janome Mini Sew for her. And I know exactly how this machine works since I have a Brother's similar to it. So I can teach her how to use the machine and how to quilt :) When I went over to my dad and moms house she had that pillow that we made together on her bed. My mom said she uses that as her pillow when she sleeps over there.

I am hoping to get her quilt done soon. Its going to be a Betty Boop quilt because she loves Betty Boop.

I'm so happy for you Henry. Two years ago my DD got me a Brother at Walmarts black Friday sale. I think she paid about 60.00 too. That is the machine I used to start learning to quilt. Here we are two years later and it still runs like a dream. I use it for all my piecing and believe me it gets a workout. Hope you like yours as much as I love mine. Happy quilting.

I have only Brothers and love them ! My first one lasted 20 years and when it went to sewing machine heaven I was devastated ! I have since replaced it with two other Brothers  . Hope she enjoys it as much as I do mine ! And don't forget she needs fabric to go with that new machine :D
