I also use our queen size bed (I rarely make anything larger than the top of that bed because of having to machine quilt on my DSM). The joint effort on the part of you and your DH really paid off. The design board is great. I'm sending a PM.

That is a great design wall. You will wonder how you ever got along without it. I finally got one up, also, using the same method you did. I really love it.
