The blocks are nice and the fabrics are nice.... but the pink needs to be saved for a different colour scheme IMHO

I like the block design and the fabric. I see why you went with a pink, but overall it over powers the rest of the palette. Maybe something with pink but incorporates some of the other colors might work better.

But in the end, it's your quilt and your design. Once the block is made it looks a lot different that it does folded up.

Is there enough to whip up a sample block or two?

I like your pink, but not for this quilt. I can't wait to see it when it gets going.

Abby, I just saw your collection.. hope you have some finished blocks to show us. The only suggestion I would have is that all the colors from the photo seem to be mediums. I might put in some solids that were Dark or very light, that way some of your prints would stand out more.

Looking forward to your finished project.

Thanks Milly's mom for the suggestions
I have cut everything out and I have one block set up together but not sewn
I wanted to make sure I had enough fabric for everything so I cut out all the pieces first and I just finished the the little 4 squares and now I am starting on the half square triangles.
Its looks good. Its going to be for my husband and he will love anything I make even if its not great lol so I am in the clear there :)

Oh wow. I like them both. Ok I'm not much help here. Sorry. I'm sure whichever one you do will be perfect. :D

Hey, I recognize that pattern. I posted it in this thread, page 2:

I'm so glad someone is using it. I will eventually get around to posting the quilt I made for my son last year using those blocks. I think it works up really nicely.
