Good start--I love the colors and it will be very nice. Hope you share pics when you have finished the top.

This actually is my favorite quilt that I made-the simplicity of it. I started another but took it one step further and cut the blocks on the diagonal and mixed them up. Just an idea for your next one.

Oh I like that idea - do you have a picture? I bought serveral jelly rolls so I plan on making a few more like this...but I like to make them all a bit different. I also am going to see if I have a die that would cut the 9 inch strips which I think the large tumbler will. I can't believe I never have thought about cutting the strips on the dies or use the dies for double duty....and how many dies I have bougtht that I did not need if I just would have thought about how I can use the others to make the shapes. I also like the heart and circle...instead of buying the nested set you can just use the regular die and just place them on the larger cirlce first then move the fabric to the smaller one...we need a post on ideas for using the dies other then the normal purpose.

I think that quilt is going to be beautiful. I love how the colors look together. Can't wait to see the finished product.

I like these colors together. I just finished a top with solid squares and blocks like yours for my nephew. I think it turned out rather nicely. Yours will be really pretty.
