My grandaughter will be 8 in June, This will be her gift. I am doing machine applique. These will be all cats. These are the firs three. Should I make them all one color or pink and purple or varied colors...what is your opinion :D

Ruth,
Your blocks for your grand daughter are so cute. I like the pink colors, but also think that you could use some lavender's, if you like. I also think a few pastels would be great. You can almost do anything with it. She is going to love it!! :D :D :D

Just the pink looks lovely. Personally I'm a fan of the scrap look, and would opt for more toning colours.

I think I would be guided by your grand-daughter's favourite colours, and then you couldn't go wrong.

I like what you're doing.

I like pink and purple... but as above, it depends on your tastes really.

It's going to look awesome, no matter which colourway you choose. :-)

This is going to be a darling quilt, whichever way you choose! That second photo is awesome, Ruth - I have the hardest time taking pictures of white on white fabric, mine just never come out that good!

Nice work!
I am a blue person, and if you put blue anywhere near me on anything, I love the whole thing. Using other colors and putting pink in as an accent, your pink little grandy will love the whole thing, I have no doubt.
But, I think whatever you do, grandydaughter will love it!
Thank you for sharing!

Ruth, please post pictures when you're done!! I would love to see it! I'm guessing it's going to be really beautiful - I love your kitty blocks!!
Either way you do it, whether all pink, or mixed, it's going to look great! :D

Oh I just love the kitty blocks!!! I like pink and purple together, so that's how I'd vote  But it's gonna be adorable no matter what other colors you do or don't add!!
