I'm impressed not only with the quilt, but that you were able to make something this grand in such a short time since Christmas. I think I'd still be cutting the pieces in that length of time.

It's a beautiful quilt, congratulations on the Featherweight. You'll always remember the CHRISTmas of 2013.

Ms. grace that is outstanding! And what a wonderful gift...mainly for someone else other than a quilter to know how to buy a FW. I went to Quilters Cache, looked at the pattern, and checked out the photos that 3 others had made. Have you thought of sending Marcia a photo of your quilt to be posted? I think you should! It truly has inspired me to get out my stash and start cutting. Was the border your idea, or did it come from another pattern? It truly is lovely! Let us know if you send it to Marcia! And where you found the idea for the piano key border? We would really appreciate it. And, using the light background and bright blocks are really stunning!!!

Love the quilt and the Featherweight did a great job on the piecing. Love the shiny picture of your new baby, aren't they just the greatest little machines. Have you named her yet, mine is Elizabeth.

Beautiful! I love the piano key border! My parents gave me a FW for my 50th B-day, she's a 1950 model as well. I love sewing on her!
