Here is my 1973 Singer sewing machine. I got it at an antique shop for $10.00. It looks brand new.

Also- found this sewing basket. It was $10.00 too. Also bought a darning egg on a stick- looks like a maraca- for $3.00.

I found some women's magazines for $.50 each from 1951. Our family reunion theme is the 50s for next year and I got them to start planning the menu and looking for an outfit to make.

Oh- did I get them at a good price?

I know a lot of quilters love the old featherweights - but I LOVE sewing machines from the 1970's. You got a great deal - use it well!!

Great buys, and I love the idea of a themed reunion.
