Oooh, ooohh, I have a suggestion!

I had a 20 amp plug put in the room with a light switch only for that plug and I plug the iron into it. That way, when I leave the room, if all the light switches are off, the iron is definitely off! I am so glad I did that, makes me feel much better. :thumbup: (20 amps because I had a steam generator iron at the time)

By the way, please give your DH a pat on the back from me; he's doing an excellent job!

OH SuziC, I'm so happy for you!! It's gonna be great!! Nothing like having a place to call your own that you don't have to "pick up" totally when you are done!
Hubby is a keeper, for sure!!
