Default New Skills = New Sham

This is what I have been working on for the past week. I just completed it today. It is a quilted flanged pillow sham. I learned a couple of new sewing skills with this project. New skills were learning to use my embroidery machine and learning to make mitered corners.

i have some quilt blocks left over that match a quilt that just needs binding. I could send them to you and get shams out of them!!! what a great idea. kidding of course. I have worked with them but they are not large enough but were sewn together with sashings-which i cut in half to make two shams.... looks weird. not happy with that. so still mulling it all over. one day I too will have shams.
