Hi Paintmejudy...I really like your quilt and the New Star block. Your print looks lovely between the star blocks.

Our guild has an upcoming Christmas block exchange. The block has to be 12.5" Can you please tell me where the info is to make the Christmas Star block? Thank you so much for posting the photo of your quilt top.

I remember the star, but I did not make it, although the directions have been saved. Your little quilt looks good, as always.

I made several of these after your mystery train, but for the Boom swap. So no finished projects w/ them

Love that block!

Here is the Train Ride thread that teaches that block:
#15 Mystery Quilt Train Ride

It's in three "clues". Clue one is the first post of the thread, clue two is post # 50, and clue three is post #111. Lots of chit chat and some photos in between!

I had seen the picture on a blog (can't remember whose) and dissected it on graph paper to make a pattern. Just_Jan is the one who told me it was also called Christmas Star. Sorry I can't give you any more info than this, it's all I know about the block. Go to the #15 mystery and it will tell you what to do.

P.S. Just noticed that show biz girl posted the link.

I also saved a tutorial years ago called RIBBON STAR. You can find it here:
