Your quilt is beautiful and you did a great job quilting. I'm green with envy, I would love to have a frame, maybe one day......
As for the presser foot and the tension, suffice it to say, been there done that....

That's the link to the package I bought. I still can't figure out what, exactly, that Pattern Perfect thing is. It came with some wooden pieces with gouges cut out.
We saved for MONTHS and MONTHS and ... well, you get the picture. :D

justquiltin' , I saw a demo of the Pattern Perfect templates at the Des Moines Show - lock your stylus into the grove on the board and follow it as you quilt - just like you would with a pantograph. Some companies are putting these out in wood, others in plastic.

Great job and congrats on your new toy! Sounds like loads of fun..your leaves look good now and the more you do...the better they will look! Thats what I always tell myself anyway.
I'm with the others on the presser foot thing...been there..done that...have the t'shirt to prove it..

Thanks, everyone for all your kind words of encouragement!
Roben -- thanks! I wasn't sure WHY I was supposed to want to use the PPT thing over a pantograph, but your explanation clarified a lot. Maybe I will try it out sometime...
bluebird -- yes, that price DOES include everything. I had been drooling over the set-ups for quite some time, but not finding the "right" one for us. Then, that one showed up, and BINGO! that was it.
shellyp -- sticker shock is right. DH was helping me look, and decided to check out some online classifieds. Unknowingly, he stumbled onto a longarm sight, and about had heart failure at the prices on USED ones. I still haven't given him an "upper" range on, say, a Gammill setup!
