ok here my thought...close with a narrow boarder of the yellow to close the blocks then put the dust Rose wider. I just finished and Irish Chain this way. But thats just idea. Can't wait to see what you do

If it were mine I would put a narrow burgundy fabric on first, it will frame it beautifully! Then the pieced one

I would pick one of the dark colors out of the floral print and make a narrow border around the blocks, then follow that with your regular border.
