I have had several ask for a link to the Nosegay pattern that I'm using .. I have 2 or 3 different ones in my "notebook".. but this is my favorite.. also a number of other patterns here you might enjoy. Thanks so much for all of your kind words. I'm thinking the dino will look much better once I get the other color accents and his foot and tail done. The blues are mostly from my stash, but the outer two "flowers" one each one are "indigos" that were in a squishy from Mountain Quilter.. they're very special and make a perfect frame for the others. What a wonderful friend!! http://www.mccallsquilting.com/qb/pa...304/index.html here's the link ...enjoy!

The nosegay block is just gorgeous!!! Oh, I like that. Looks like you have Y-seams, too.

I fell in love with the T-Rex. My boys would have just loved something like that. The batik you used for him was a very good idea. Can't wait to see him all finished!

As always, beautiful work sis. The nosegays are just beautiful and T-Rex will look awesome when you're done with him.

That nosegay is beautiful, I love it.
Are you hand piecing them?

I hunted for quite a while to find just the right batiks.. went through several.
The rex I sketched from a "statue" that my roommate has.. I have a smaller sketch if you want it. Nothing special.. although I like it a bit better than it's big brother.
You'd just have to break it down into a pattern.
The nosegay has TONS of y seams..lol.. but I don't mind them.
