    I really like the first one best. I really want to make a bargello but the thought of all those seams I just can't do it. It just bothers me because of the quilting.

    I don't do fancy quilting. I just SITD, but only every 3 inches or so. You ought to give it a try. I started with a place mat and was addicted immediately.

    Well, I can't explain what I was expecting, and I didn't exactly follow a published pattern. I was experimenting with putting a white strip between two light purple strips. It ended up looking sort of "blurry" instead of sharp and precise. I should have put the white between the light blue and the darkest purple.

    This was my first Bargello with a Bargello design program, and I learned a lot about how to use the program.
