Thanks, Gramysews. I'm digging through my stash and thinking that between buying a little more flannel and the stash I have, I could actually make a cute scrappy, warm and cuddly looking quilt. It's at this point that I hope and pray that the recipient's love the work as much as I do.

I am making this for my great niece who will be born in December. Her dad (my nephew) has always had a very important place in my heart, so I wanted to do something special. This is his first baby. It's funny, because he never wanted kids....never! Now this guy is almost giddy with excitement. I love to see that.
