    What a vibrant and happy quilt. I, too, am happy when I finally finish the quilting and call it done LOL I don't mind doing the binding at all, as I do it all by machine.

    Thank you! The background is actually a dark navy. Was lucky enough to find the fabric at goodwill. It's amazing how different a quilt can look when you choose a dark background vs. a light.

    Beautiful! Love your work here. I’d like to try this border applique but I’d have to make the blocks a bit larger because I like to make queen size quilts. Lovely job you’ve done.

    I also want to ask which method of applique did you do? Was it fusible raw edge, turned edge and stitched by hand, or machine applique? This may go on my bucket list. I love your dark background but it’s sometimes hard for me to see to sew.

    I used the fusible web for the applique, then machine stitched (zig-zag). I agree that the dark background is hard to see. I realized that once I was well into it though Haha!
