I love that idea of cutting your scraps into 3" sqs. when finished with a quilt! I have been just sticking those pcs. back into my stash, but I'm going to do that instead.

I cut my scraps into 2 1/2, 4 1/2, & 6 1/2 inch squares and 2 1/2 by 6 1/2 inch strips. From those pieces, I can make a multitude of different quilts.
