Wonderful scrappy quilt. Best of all, the price was right!

I love it. I have a load of scraps but never the courage to do a scrappy quilt. Perhaps because the scraps are not diverse enough? Hmmmmmmm more quilting to get more scraps?

Many of the patches do not have matching "darks" or matching "lights" but I tried to put together a pleasing patch with the squares on hand. Even the sashing was from my stash, as well as the backing.

I didn't make too much of a dent in the scrap boxes, but I sure had a lot of fun making the quilt top.
This is beautiful. I love it. Thanks for sharing.

This is beautiful. What a great idea to cut scraps into squares. I need to start doing that to keep things under control. Thanks.

I really like the mismatched blocks, great idea keeping them in the same color family.

Thanks for showing a picture.

Very nice--- did you quilt as you go??? Want to try that-- seems so much easier than fighting the enormous sandwhich. Anyone know of a good book to check out at the library on QAYG???
