I swore up and down and sideways that I was not going to buy any fabric this month and save for my Oct vacation. Well, of course, I had to have some black so went to Hancocks to look for black on black (which they don't have), but they did have a table with a lot of cottons for $1.00 a yard and then an extra 15% off total cost.

I really like the bird fabric and the leaf fabric is not really a coordinate but seems to go with it okay.

So for $.85 per yard I ended up with 9 yards and 2 panels for only $9.50. I guess I will skip Subway a couple of times this month.

$.85/yard. WOW! I've never been in a regular Hancocks (chain). I think the nearest one is three hours away. Maybe it's better that way. ;-)

I have just convinced myself that I HAVE to quit buying more fabric and should probably destash some. This conclusion was arrived by putting all of the fabric in one place and having a room full. I am going to start by only buying for a need. For example, this week a friend announced she was leaving the company, her nickname is tiger. I had no tiger fabric in my stash, so it was a need. Wish me luck. I really fabric collecting and when I get good deals I have a hard time saying no.

Wonderful buy, congrats! At that price how could you expect not to buy?! Forgive yourself and just skip buying fabric for a day this coming month...lol.
