Being able to utilize the border prints this way really maximized the WOW factor on this one. I have never seen anything like this, you should think about entering it in a quilt show. Stunning.

It's really wonderful, Jennie! I remember you did do a tute for this pattern one time, too. I wanted to try to make just one block with the border fabric, but have trouble finding any!

All 3 are so unique and gorgeous! What do you think you might like to do next?

what can I say but WoW. It is a extremely beautiful quilt. I love love love the fabrics you picked. Between the fabrics and the quilting it has quit an elegant air about it. Well done.

Hi Kitsie,
What I would like to do next is a Mariner's compass. But, don't tell anyone else, but I'm a scardy cat about all those points!


PS - I don't have a problem finding border prints. I think they just jump out at me, from whatever store I happen to be in.!
