Don't worry - remind them that it's been proven that babies respond positively to vivid colors. It's beautiful, anyway.

That is a good way to a quilt to last a long time. I am trying to finish one with a tractor in the middle black and other farm animals and things around it for my GN so he can even show it off to friends when he is in his teens. Yours is a quilt for all seasons.
