What a great idea!! Boy, those titles took a lot of work to make. You did an awesome job! At first I thought I was looking at an actual bookshelf full of books.

Ms Ring Our local librarian is retiring after 32 years and this would be a wonderful quilt for her. Do you have a pattern for this quilt? 1948 Shygirl63

No pattern. It's actually quite easy and a great use of scraps. No corners to match, either. I purposely made them different widths and lengths to be more realistic. On page 2 (I think it is) I described my method for adding the dark top to all the strips. The trick on the leaning books is not to let the bias cut side stretch as you sew it, and if you have 2 or 3 books leaning together, the bottom triangles are a little tricky. But generally, it's just alot of fun!!!
