North Country Wallhanging
#46
How did you needlemark your quilt? I don't know what this means. Your quilt is really beautiful.
Hello to you all! I hope you have had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day.
Here are some pictures of a North Country wallhanging I made in 2010. It came back home to me a few days ago after it's 2-years-journey with a traveling exhibition, organized by the German quilter's guild.
The size of the quilt is 49" x 40" and it's hand quilted. The patterns are very traditional North Country patterns like rose, flat iron and fans. I used Legacy 80/20 batting and YLI hand quilting thread. The patterns are needlemarked, therefore I didn't have to remove any pencil marks. Just perfect on a light colored fabric like this one.
