Thanks, it will be a present for my daughter in the UK.
That is an old pattern for Kwik Sew. I must have bought that in the early 90s and have made numerous gowns from the same pattern. No two the same. She likes them.

I hope anyone that is a beginning sewer can see what you can do with a plain pattern. You follow the sewing directions, but how you prepare the fabric is up to you.

Those were her ferrets, I miss the buggers but have my hands full with cats. She has 8 ferrets.

That's a night gown? it looks like it would make a nice day dress! lovely. Kwik Sew, i'm looking for a bathrobe with empire waist. I have found two vintage patterns but one is out of the Country and I'm not comfortable buying from them. I'm not familiar with Kwik Sew but found one under their name too.

The designer for most of the patterns passed away, but KwikSew still publishes the sewing books. Here's a link to the one I use. The same basic pattern can be used for a bathrobe. I've done some with robe velour and quilted the top with decorative thread.

She uses 1/4" seams for everything, so quilters should have no problem
