First of all, Thank you to all for your kind, kind words. Quilting is my passion, however, I am by no means a great quilter. I truly enjoy every aspect of the trip. In answer to your questions about the pattern. Yes, I found Jacqueline de Jonge's pattern a little confusing at first. I believe that is because English is not her first language. But, that said, it certainly was not difficult to follow. I rely on the accuracy of paper piecing. Paper piecing makes it easy to piece blocks that would be a nightmare otherwise.
As for the fabrics used, they were all Robert Kaufman Asian prints, a gift from my daughter. My second daughter bought me the pattern. So this is truly a family quilt.
Again, thank you everyone.
