Decided I would time myself for this portion of the NYB Block - 1 hour who knew

​Pretty! Have you seen Tula Pink sea serpent made from NYB blocks? Angela Walters quilted it on her blog.

I can believe it! This week I’ve started my first NYB quilt. It’s a Judy Niemeyer pattern. It took me an entire day just to prepare the paper templates and the paper foundations!

I just made a NYB block using the ruler set. The first one took me two hours! The fourth one took me 15 minutes. There is a learning curve, but it does get better quickly.
