OBW or keleidoscope hexes? opinions please...

for this fabric, I would use the off set triangles for the perfect contrast!!!
This is the nice thing about the OBW and the SAW.....they are the same thing, cut the same way, it's all in the setting of the blocks.

I like it with the solid triangles. I am never a fan of OBW until I see one with some solid between the kaleidoscopes. To me, it really shows off the work involved in them better than when they are all together.

Your right what you say in your original post - there is not really enough variation for OBW unless you were to spritz it up with some cubes, applique or something. The stack n whack layout with the setting triangles works well however because there are some lovely individual blocks. :-D
