OBW quilting question
#31
I think there should be a rule that you have to use the same fabric for the back. That way everyone knows what the fabric looks ike before you started cutting it up into the OBW. That being said, I would use the same fabric on the back and quilt around the leaves. The front is so busy any quilting is going to be lost anyway.

OBW= One Block Wonder. There is a book out there that gives you the instructions by the same name. Also there is a Tute on doing One Block wonders.
I would of loved to used the same fabric for the back. But this was a sale fabric at my local quilt store. I bought the last 4 yards. As soon as I saw it I thought it would make a great OBW. Glad that I did. It really turned out well.
Thank you for all of the nice compliments. It has made my weekend.

What a great idea showing the fabric "before", I showed it to my DH so he could get an idea of what you can do with fabric. It got a "wow" - a word he usually only uses when he sees an old restored car. Good job! It's really beautiful!
