Wow, your choice of fabrics is great. I have a list of about 20 quilts that I want to make, and a quilt using a rainbow of colors is definity on the list. I can't wait to see your finished product!

I actually posted this on another thread, but here it is with the borders, but it's not quilted yet (duh)

Very nice choice of extending the color out into the boarder. It looks like the color just spills out to the edges. Is this your own design or a pattern that you are following? Sally

Very nice job. I'd call it a wake up and smile quilt. :D

I can't really take credit for it, since I saw something like this online, but I didn't actually have a pattern for it, I just figured it out based on how big I wanted it, how many colours... I think I might change some of the purples around, I don't like that blue cluster in the purple.

I wouldn't change a thing. The blue in the purple looks like it belongs there! It looks like the colors of the rainbow spilled out and swirled around a bit. The unpredictability of it adds to the interest. It is not just one perfect row after another. It shows your creativity. But, if you really want to get the seam ripper out and tkae it all apart, well, it is your quilt!

What do others out there think? Doesn't the blue block add to the interest and cause your eyes to move back and forworth and really take it all in?

I would leave it! I think it is absolutely beautiful! The colors spilling into each other brings a whole new look to it!

I think the blue there looks all right.......the floral is peeking when it can so it all looks good. The finial choice is up to you. Change it if it bothers you or you will never be quite happy about it :D
