The block designs are perfect for your fabrics. I love your denim circles with your bow tie blocks. I think I see a tiny mushroom in the print fabric with a cheddar orange stem and a blue with white dot mushroom top... just thinking.. would a second border look ok with blue and tiny white dot fabric? Have fun with whatever fabric you decide upon.

Send a pic of your top to www.webfabrics.net and see if they can't match it.........They have some wonderful oranges and gold orange colors..........they can work with your photo, and email you back what they have that they think will work...

You know, I may have some of that gold/orange...I'm currently making a gold/white quilt with it....found a bolt of it at an estate sale and LOVE the color. If you want to PM me, I'll dig up a picture for you.

Sure does look like a fun quilt. You are really getting the hang of hand applique. Great job.

you may have to go with a border of varied shades of orange in the piece of fabric, thus not picking up on any of them, yet adding to the quilt - hoping to get near the right color - just some thoughts
