Default oh my beloved orange where ourt thou

Having a dickens of a time finding that orange for a boarder. The bow ties are from an estate sale. Tthe denim circles are my attempt at needle turned applique. And thanks to the person that suggested I hand baste these stripes together, no way would it have gotten this close, then of course because this fabric is a mongrel mixed breed I had to go back and finish the edges. So far it's been really fun.

That's a unique pattern! I really like it!

I believe that orange is the one Bonnie Hunter refers to as "cheddar". She's always excited to find it in antique quilts!

Lots of orange fabric at thousandsofbolts.com. What a fun little quilt.

Very nice. I am impressed with your needle turned applique. And love the orange/ cheddar with the black. Very classy.

I think your best bet would be to order a color card of your favorite solid, and then compare and pick the best match. Something like this: http://www.fatquartershop.com/kona-c...ids-color-card
