    I like this thread catcher.I'm going to do the same except,I'm going to stitch those edges that come together by hand.You won't see a thread line.I hope it works out that way.

    Cute holders.

    I've made these for years as small jewlery pouches. No batting. Sew a seam about 1/2" down parallel to the fold (instead of the button) Thread ribbon thru this channel & tie.
