I love the way you used the (matching) baskets to store your smaller pieces in front of each shelf. Very good use of space still allowing you to see what is behind.

You're so right...it is out of control. I'm ashamed to admit it, but this is not all of it by a long shot. This doesn't include any of my flannels, home dec fabrics, Thimbleberries collections or Civil War and 30's repros. Having to organize it all was just the thing to make me realize that I simply have way too much. I'm going to be having a heck of a garage sale in May, and I will be making lots of quilters very happy, I think. It's better than many addictions, but I am taking this pretty seriously. :-)

let's see if I get this right - we saw 3 tall units FULL of neatly folded fabrics and you still have more?!
You're having a garage sale in May? I wonder how many miles/hrs away you are - my hubby wanted to take a road trip to see the States this spring... lol

What impressed me more than the amount of fabric you had, was the amount of work you have done to get that all organized! Congratulations! I am very proud of you!
I am still waiting for my dd to get the rest of her stuff out of her old bedroom so that we can remove the carpeting, paint and install shelves. Then I will be organizing my stash. (She got married in July)
