1 looks like a quilting foot with a guide
2 seam guide
3 button sew on foot
4 ?
5 roller foot for sewing vinyl, leather, other hard to sew fabrics
6 cording/piping foot R or L
7 same as 6

Yes, I agree. It is to help feed slick materials through. I used something like this when sewing on vinyl.

No. A roller foot is made to not stick on the material, and "roll" over it. It doesn't feed the top layers through like a walking foot does.

The only ones I know is 6 and 7. You use to have to have two
zipper foot. One for the left side and the other for the right side. Now we have one foot and just have to side the foot from
side to side.

OK here are my best guesses 1. quilting foot used to keep rows of stitches equal distance apart 2. seam guide that screwed onto bed of machine 3. open toe foot used to hold down buttons when sewing on with machine 4. open toe zig-zag or decorative stitch foot 5, roller foot helped not crush fabrics not evenfeed foot 6&7 edge stitch feet used to sew near edges or for piping and zippers 8. cover for feed dogs when darning

How much sewing machine feet have changed !! Thanks for the interesting puzzle. I wonder how old they are and what sewing machines they go with??
