Yes, that quilt is a little out of my price range I volunteer at a local historical society and we have a couple of quilts made with that pattern and dated to the 1830s. I think they were both hand pieced. One isn't in very good condition, so you are lucky to have yours in such nice shape.

Per Blockbase the block is known as Russian Sunflower; Oklahoma Sunburst; Sunburst; Noonday; Rising Sun; Kansas Sunflower and Brave Sunflower! Luann in CT

That's a gorgeous quilt. Anxious to see what it looks like after you have refurbished. Gorgeous, extensive hand quilting. We all can only hope some of our quilts live on after we're gone and are appreciated.
