I think it is beautiful. I have my first quilt as well. Not as nice at this but I was 15. that was 41 years ago. now you
can enjoy your work and you should be very proud of it. thanks for sharing.Dawn

How wonderful to finish something that's been hanging around such a long time! GOOD FOR YOU! Love the colors and the simple quilting. Beautifully done, ladies!

I have a queen-size quilt top I mostly started-and-mostly-finished in 1995 but stopped because of the unappealing starkness of the (entire) middle portion. The design issue of how to complete the center has been a real sticking point - I love the colors and what this quilt means to me, so "doing something, anything" was not the solution. Finally got my inspired solution two weeks ago and am hunting down leaf outlines to make templates to finish it just the way I want.
