Good fabric/pattern choices. Depending on how much more work you want to put into it, you could add 1 or 2 borders of the fabric you used already, or use a flying geese border.

You might want small 8 point stars as cornerstones.

BTW, this is 3 sizes of the traditonal 8 point/ sawtooth star, an extremely dramatic and versitile block pattern.

I love your quilt. Great choice of colors and not making it TOO cowboy! I love it. I wish I had the pattern but since I don't have the magazine I am out of luck! Your newlyweds will love their quilt.
