You make such beautiful quilts! This is something that I'd like to tackle, just looking for that special fabric to use!!

I did see where you use a MM ruler....does it matter what size you buy
to make the OBW ? They have 2...small & large. Not sure what you mean about buying a ruler with a tip? I'm getting stuff together to start, but don't want to get the wrong ruler. Now I see you like the Clearview ruler best? Sorry to be a pest !

Hang on, I'll post a pic of my ruler...

BTW this is my old triangle with the tips cut off (not ideal!) I now have a new one with the tips but the angles are the same. Anyone who is buying one, get one with tips, the tips are important when making these as they help you line everything up!
Here's my triangle with my 6.5" square laying alongside it.

A OBW made from two fabrics with the same prints, but one is twice the size of the other. Yup, it's on the home stretch. Just have to layer and fmq it, get a hanger sleeve on and a label. This one's for my brother and sister-in-law who live in New Mexico. Their living room wall is much the same color as the brick red in the flowers. I included pieces of both original fabrics on the front of this quilt, with brick red piping and dark green solid borders. I'll get a picture up here when it's all finished.

As always K3N your quilt is absolutely gorgeous! I like OBWs but haven;t plucked up the courage to try making one. I am tempted…...
