Girl, that is so cool!! I am always amazed at what comes out of the fabric when you do these quilts!! How are you planning to quilt this? That is the fun part for me!!

It is quilted Ditter! Very subtley obviously! I just meandered over the main body, SITD round both edges of the skinny border and then did a half hooked feather in the border to represent flames - there's a close up of the border a couple of pages back. :-D

If you don't want to buy a triangle ruler, you can just use one that has a 60 degree angles on it. Mine is an Omnigrid 6" X 24". Once your strips are stacked, pinned together, you just start at one end position the ruler on the fabric lining up one of the cut edges with the 60 degree line and cut on the outer edge of the ruler. Flip the ruler so you're using the other 60 degree line and cut the other side of the triangle. Repeat these actions all the way across your strip set. Make sure to move pins, so you don't accidentally try to cut thru one. Before you know it you will have cut the whole strip and will be ready to start sewing them together. Don't sew all together tho, just make half hexagons.
