The rows with the diamonds should lay over the pillows on the bed when it's all done.

Oh very nice! How many yards of material did you use? Good Job.

This quilt is pretty huge--98" x 120". I bought 10 yards of fabric and have less than a yard left. I cut it so there wouldn't be any waste. After I cut and stacked the repeats, I decided how large to cut the wedges so I'd get 3 rows of wedges out of each repeat.

No suggestion for quilting but the quilt itself is gorgeous.

Thanks for explaining this process. I didn't understand how you got that masterpiece out of that piece of fabric. It is absolutely breathtaking.

Great job, Wendy!
I especially love the solid hexes in the top part! I have one hanging on my design wall and had stopped working on it for some unknown reason...maybe I was waiting for inspiration from you!!
As for quilting, here is an older thread started by BuzzinBumble with some really neat ideas for OBW's:

Good luck, and let us see it when you get it quilted!
