Great choice of fabric for a OBW! And a beautiful arrangement of the hexes. The maroon diamonds and borders are the perfect accent. I didn't try anything fancy to quilt mine, because I'm not confident with FMQ yet. You, on the other hand, are already a master, so I'm looking forward to seeing what you do!

Could anyone direct me to instructions for a one-block wonder. Haven't been able to find anything and I absolutely love this.

I hope someone answers you on the quilting question. My girls don't like the all over quilting that is usually used. They want the puffy batting and less quilting so the quilt is more like a comforter. I have a mid-arm Jannone on a Gracey frame and am still in the learning stages.
