lol... I made my mistake on this quilt and I hope it's the last. Because I changed the pattern to include the basket blocks AND I mis-cut some of the fabric, I didn't even have enough fabric to cut four more 2 1/2 x 8 1/2 pieces for the sides of two baskets. So, I used the other floral fabric for 2 of the blocks.
I cut two squares of the central flower motifs and used them for the tops of the baskets. Well, since they are cut in half I have two baskets with a single rose and two with carnation-like flowers. I planned to put them in opposite corners. I also planned to put the other white fabric in the opposite corners, which I failed to think of when I sewed this row together. Now, two baskets with the different whites but both have roses are in this row.
Sorry if that doesn't make sense. I suppose it keeps it from being so absolutely regimented too. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
