absolutely stunning. I just took a hand quilting class and fell in love with it. I have started working on just a 20" muslin block for practice and already love the way its turning out. I have a hard time with the first stitch and obviously still working to get consistant stitch length. What type of thread (brand) do you use and needles. Also do you have a batting preference? thank you so much for sharing your beautiful work. I hope someday Im a good as you. :)

    Suebee,
I like to use YLI hand quilting thread, but I also use Gütermann or King Tut when I need a special color or varigated thread. As batting I mostly use Hobbs 80/20, Legacy 80/20 or cotton, Tuscany cotton and also Quilters Dream. I like a traditional look.

Thank you so much. I really appreciate your input. I see you are from Germany...I would love to see that country. Our son took 5 years of german in school and got to go there a couple of years ago. He loved it!
