I attended the same BOM meet at Hancock's way back then. My top and backing are ready to be sandwiched. I used a print H. had at the time. It has all of the same colors in it, but predominantly the bright green and yellow. About the time I finished the classes, I enrolled in another class at another fabric shop and did the Undergrund Railroad quilt using Eleanor Burns' book. That top is still waiting also. Your quilt is beautiful. Makes me want to take mine out and finish it. yea, right! I keep making tops. I've finished a lot of quilts along the way, but these have befcome UFOs.

Don't feel too badly, I bought those blocks when our Hancock's closed & they are still in the pkgs. I only partially did a few, may end up selling some of them here as I'm not really liking the color for me at least!

But yours looks great!
Glad its done.

Dont Feel bad, It turned out great and Mine is still in the stash drawer. I may get to it someday, But I used the sashing for something else. So I will have to come up with another plan for the sashing.

Beautiful quilt!!!!
I have one too. I bought this block of the month when it ended in 2004. I found the blocks on clearance. I said I am going to make this for Lucas, my youngest child. I decided I was sewing it all by hand when I was in the car. After a year and only 3 blocks done, everyone started teasing me that it was going to be my son's college quilt. He was 7 at the time. Now, he is almost 15. Boy I am going to have to stop getting distracted and get on track or it may be for his son to go to college. lol
