    here is a free x-mas quilt I am making--still needs borders.

    Really pretty. The log cabin block is so versatile. I have never seen it set to form a star. Really cool!!

    Aww, shucks, thanks everyone. Since the pattern uses 2.5 inch strips, it doesn't take much time at all to see that star grow. I bought some really, really cheap fabrics on line at Hancock's. NOT meant for quilts w/ wear and tear but perfect for wall hangings. without you Sondray, my house would not be festive for the holidays :wink:
