I think a red border with red binding would be pretty. The colors are so pretty together. It will be beautiful no matter what you do.

I think a red border the same width as the red in the pattern & then a larger border of the flower fabric & bind it in red would really make it pop. Those blocks are beautiful & will be a beautiful quilt.

how about straight-line echo stitching around the center red diamond and continuing at 1/2" intervals? maybe white thread?
(i hope you're prewashing the red with either a color catcher or retayne. if not, then wash with retayne as soon as the quilt is finished and before it's washed with detergent.)

btw, what color will you use on the backing?

I would do the floral border first and then the red and bind in the red. I always like the darkest border on the outside! A narrow red border first... perhaps 1" red, then a 3" floral and then a 2" red and red binding [finished sizes].
