I think he looks perfect, take this from a former Curious George groupie. I loved that book as a child.

Oh my it is hard to believe he has been around that long. EeeeK!

what a fun idea. My 3 yr old grandson just loves the Curious George book I gave him for Christmas last year. I may have to do what you're doing and make him a quilt.
I don't know much about fancy machine applique but I like what you've done. The marker looks nice too.
