I finally got it quilted! I was able to take it to show & tell at guild last night. Now I will show you guys the finished project. The colors when it is hanging on the gate are too warm, but that shows the quilting the best. I am really happy with the way it turned out, but I would do something that showed better in the center if I had to do it over. Since I didn't wash the fabric first, it really puckered. The top was 44" square and it dried to 39 1/2". Quit a bit. But I didn't have a choice since I wouldn't have had enough focus fabric. I used the scraps on the back.

I think it's very pretty and the back is so unique. Love it. I happen to like the puckered look.

It is very pretty, and I love it when the quilting puckers. I learned my lesson about washing my fabrics first though (red loves to fade) so now I wash the fabrics first.

Love both front and back. The puckering adds to the look.

I usually always wash first, but I was dangerously short on some fabrics and couldn't risk it. I do like the puckery look, this is just the most puckering I have ever had.

Hey, quiltlady, I live on the line, too! I'm in Fairwood. Covington Quilters is my guild. I have thought about Evergreen, but when I was first looking for a guild, I had Pilates on their meeting night. Couldn't miss my Pilates!
