You came up with a great quilt, I like everything there is to like about it. On my "bucket-list".

It seemed to long so I wanted to make it wider. So now for the hunt for more material. I was lucking to find it but only in a fat quarter bundle so I had to buy it, then I ran out of the background cream color so I had to hunt for the same cream color . This quilt took me over 6 months. But I'm very pleased as to how it all turned out.
I quilted it part free motion and templates
it ended up being the size of a twin bed
beautiful quilt. And actually, any quilt I have started in the last year seems to take forever, and none of them are anywhere near as complicated as orange peel. I think it is time to do shorter time required projects than quilts. For me anyway.

Ilike to see results so quick projects was I love to do. I'm currently doing place matts ,and I did a bunch of fabric plates with mod pod . That is one reason this quilt took me a bit to do. I had many projects going a once.
